This website is dedicated exclusively to the '85 Batchmates, their friends, and family, providing a platform to explore and book the All-Inclusive Luxury and Luxury Plus African Safari (Tanzania) expedition. The 11-day / 10-night adventure is scheduled to take place from Tuesday, July 8th, to Friday, July 18th, 2025, in collaboration with Lion King Adventures, a renowned Safari tour company located in Arusha, Tanzania.

In general, embarking on an African Safari doesn't come cheap. We understand that budgets vary, and that’s why we're offering not one, but two incredible accommodation options! While the “Luxury Plus” hotels promise a top-tier experience across the board, the “Luxury” tier offers a very commendable and more economical alternative, ensuring good value for your money. But here's the best part – no matter where you stay, we're all in this safari adventure together! And when we hit Zanzibar, get ready to kick back and relax in the same fabulous resort as the rest of our safari squad! Both tier of hotels are featured below with links to their respective websites. For a detailed comparison between Luxury Plus and Luxury accommodations, we encourage you to conduct your own online research by clicking on the (R) in the description of the hotels below.

July is peak season for safari holidays as the dry season is in full swing and it’s the beginning of the summer school holidays in most of the western world. **Due to limited availability and popular demand for some of the hotels in our itinerary, we are temporarily holding a select number of rooms for our group until the early booking deadline of March 15th, 2024, to be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Reserving your spot before this date will require a refundable deposit of 10% of the total safari cost, with cancellations accepted for a full refund up to 6 months before the Safari start date. Bookings made after March 15th, 2024, are subject to availability of spots within the group and will require a non-refundable deposit of 15%. Please note, any cancellation of bookings made after March 15th, 2024, will result in loss of your deposit.

Arrive in Arusha, Tanzania

You will be met by your guide upon arrival and transferred from the Kilimanjaro Airport to your hotel in Arusha.

This invigorating hike provides a glimpse into the renowned Kilimanjaro trekking experience within a single day, catering to those with time constraints or desiring a shorter yet equally gratifying adventure.

For those who might perceive the Kilimanjaro day hike as overly demanding due to physical exertion or altitude-related apprehensions, know that you're not alone. Based on your preference, our guides will split us up into groups and arrange separate routes for varying distances. Those up for the full trek can go ahead and conquer it for some well-deserved bragging rights, while others can opt for a more leisurely pace.

If Kilimanjaro doesn't quite suit your taste, no problem at all! We'll organize a city tour of Arusha along with a visit to a coffee plantation. Did you know Tanzania is renowned for its high-quality Arabica coffee beans, primarily cultivated in Kilimanjaro, Mbeya, and Arusha regions?

This allows you the option to temporarily separate from the main group, if and when you wish to, within the confines of the parks. The parks are accessible from 6 am to 6 pm, and we enjoy unlimited mileage privileges for our game drives. Your dedicated guide will remain with you for the entire tour and, whenever you wish to customize your Safari experience, your guide will be happy to help you tailor your game drive with on-the-ground advance planning or make spontaneous adjustments within the park guidelines, ensuring a truly memorable expedition.
